Item 5) Chief’s Report-Captain Stuller

Capt. Stuller reported the Amador program is in affect; The District’s Volunteer Resident program is currently at 9 volunteers; Dobbins and Smartsville are being operated strictly by volunteers and Bangor is operating with brown out days.

 

Item 6) Volunteer Firefighters Report- Tyler Jones

Volunteer firefighter Magdaleno Moto will be signed off on water tender and will be staffing the Kibbe Road Station. David Lopez is working towards his driver operator.

 

Item 7) General Manager’s Report –Sue Cerf

General Manager Cerf reported that the District received notice of two property splits.  One is 441 acres splitting 24 acre and 417 acre parcels and moving out of the Spring Valley specific plan.  The other property split is 543 acres.

 

Item 8) Mitigation Fund

Refund of $359.10 for Fire Mitigation Fee Permit No. B06-0759, for a Detached Garage at 5985 Marysville Road, original receipt # 41149, to Steve Wooten, P.O. Box 1496, Ramona, Ca. 92065-08. Permit has been cancelled. $359.10 to come from Mitigation Fund #601.

 

 

 

Item 9) Board of Directors-Calendar Year 2010

A)    Nominate and elect Board Chair:

Motion to Elect Dave Stipp to Chairperson- Battaglia, Second: Barajas

 

B)    Nominate and elect Board Vice Chair:

Motion to Elect Cathy Kattuah to Vice Chairperson- Stipp, Second: Barajas

 

C)    Nominate and Elect JPA Member

Motion to nominate Director Barajas: Kattuah, Second: Battaglia

 

D)    Nominate and Elect JPA Alternate

Motion to nominate Director Biggs: Stipp, Second: Battaglia

All by passed unanimous voice vote.

 

Item 10) Hallwood Station Curt Williges

A)    Update: Chief Williges sent a hold harmless clause to resource management to be written up.  Once completed hold harmless will be sent to District’s attorney for review.

B)    No board action at this time

 

Item 11) Station 63

A)    Discussion of recent activities.

B)    Discussion regarding extending Alvarado Consulting. At this time no need to extend the contract. But might need to use him in the future.

C)    Hilbers/Butler: Hold off until next meeting

D)    Initiate board action as deemed necessary-No action taken
