Welcome to the Loma Rica / Browns Valley Fire Department
This web site has been established by the Loma Rica / Browns Valley Community Services District to provide information to the residents of our District.
The Loma Rica / Browns Valley Community Sevices District was established in 1984 by a vote of the District's residents for the sole purpose of providing fire, rescue and medical aid service to the almost 100 square mile area constituting the Loma Rica and Browns Valley communities.
The District is an independent government agency (Special District) and as such, receives its operational revenue from a direct assessment levied on District residents and businesses. The County of Yuba does not provide fire service or revenue for fire service.

Monthly Board Meetings
The District Board of Directors holds a monthly business / operations meeting the third Monday of each month. The meetings are open to the public and all residents are invited to attend. Agendas are posted throughout the community and on this website. The meetings begin at 7:00 pm and are held at the Bi-agency fire station located at 11485 Loma Rica Road, Loma Rica.
The Loma Rica/Browns Valley Fire Department is always seeking qualified applicants who have the desire to help their community as a volunteer firefighter. For more information please visit the station and talk with the Duty Captain or the Chief.
The District is also looking for volunteers to assist the governing board of directors. If you have the time and wish to help, we would enjoy speaking with you. For more information, you may call the District at (530) 741-0755 or you can always email us at: LRBVCSD@lrbvfire.org
